On Friday, February 26, Baker Sterchi Member Laura Beasley will present at the Illinois Defense Counsel (IDC) webinar “Trial Dockets and Settlement Conferences in Asbestos Litigation Hotspots: What to Know and How to Prepare.” The hour-long program begins at noon CST and will focus on how to approach settlement conferences and trial dockets in asbestos litigation with a sufficient understanding of the court, opposing counsel, jury pool, and venue to avoid surprises and disappointing outcomes.
Beasley, located in Baker Sterchi’s Belleville, Illinois office, focuses her practice in the areas of civil litigation defense, general liability, class action/mass torts, insurance coverage, personal injury, and product liability for the manufacturing, insurance, transportation, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Geography from Austin Peay University and her law degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law. She is a member of several bar associations and currently serves as President-Elect of the IDC Board of Directors.
