Baker Sterchi Cowden & Rice is pleased to welcome John Kellogg to the firm’s Kansas City office. Kellogg joins the firm as Of Counsel, practicing in the areas of premises liability, construction law, personal injury and commercial litigation, with an emphasis on insurance coverage, vexatious refusal to pay, and bad faith disputes on behalf of insurance carriers.
Kellogg has experience in all phases of litigation from discovery to appeals and has obtained defense verdicts in first and second chair trial capacities in both Missouri and Kansas courts. He has also successfully prosecuted a variety of declaratory judgment actions on behalf of his clients. He regularly gives presentations for the Missouri Bar on third-party bad faith and related issues.
Kellogg earned his law degree from the Washington University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from the Washington University College of Arts & Science. Prior to law school, he worked as an auditor for a national accounting firm.
