Baker Sterchi Attorneys Contribute to ALFA Transportation Law Compendium
Baker Sterchi Members Jon Benevides, Jim Jarrow and Hal Meltzer contributed to the Missouri and Kansas portions of the 2022 edition of the ALFA International (ALFA) Transportation Practice Group’s 50-state Transportation Law Compendium.
The 2022 ALFA Transportation Law Compendium is a quick reference for 13 common topics relating to transportation litigation, including the statute of limitations for tort and contract actions as they relate to the transportation industry; monetary caps on compensatory, exemplary or punitive damages; evidence allowed at trial concerning medical expense related damages; and more.
Located in the firm’s Kansas City office, Benevides, Jarrow and Meltzer are members of ALFA’s Transportation Practice Group and represent transportation carriers and their insurers in commercial motor vehicle accidents and a wide range of other matters faced by the trucking industry. Jarrow is a co-chair of Baker Sterchi’s Trucking Practice Group.
