Venker Interviewed by St. Louis Public Radio Regarding Freedom Suits Memorial

Baker Sterchi attorney Paul Venker was recently interviewed on the St. Louis public radio show “St. Louis on the Air.”

Venker’s interview is focused on efforts to bring to fruition the Freedom Suits Memorial – a memorial that will sit on the eastern plaza of the Civil Courts Building in downtown St. Louis honoring courageous slave plaintiffs who sued for their freedom in the decades leading up to the Civil War, as well as the lawyers and judges who helped them. Venker is the chair of the Freedom Suits Memorial Steering Committee.
