BSCR Supports Judge Kit Carson Roque, Jr. Scholarship   10/06/09

On October 3, several BSCR employees attended the 12th Annual Judge Kit Carson Roque Scholarship Banquet at the Kansas City Marriott Country Club Plaza. The Judge Kit Carson Roque, Jr. Scholarship was created in 1998 to honor the late Judge Kit Carson, Jr.  Scholarships are presented annually to deserving law students from UMKC, MU, KU and/or Washburn who demonstrate academic achievement, financial need, and community service. The purpose of the banquet, organized by the Jackson County Bar Association (JCBA), is to raise funds for the scholarship.  BSCR has been a gold level sponsor of this effort for several years.
