Kara Stubbs Serves as ABA Pharma Meeting Co-Chair 12/16/09
Kara Stubbs served as a co-chair for the American Bar Association's recent Pharma meeting. The meeting, which took place in Kenilworth, NJ, focused on current issues in pharmaceutical and medical device litigation. BSCR was a co-sponsor of the event. In addition to serving as a program co-chair, Kara also served as a moderator for a section on “Preemption: What is Happening in Congress to Change the Landscape.” Kara’s panel examined the impact of the United States Supreme Court’s preemption decisions and related legislative and regulatory developments on litigation involving medical device and pharmaceutical products.
