Baker Sterchi Cowden & Rice continues to be a proud supporter of Cristo Rey Schools by participating in the school’s work/study program. The Cristo Rey work/study program places high school students with local companies to offset the cost of the student’s education by 67% and to provide the student with a real-world work experience.
A Cristo Rey High School student has been placed with the firm to work one day a week during the school year. The Cristo Rey network is an association of high schools servicing low income students in cities across the United States. Cristo Rey Schools have a 98% graduation rate and a 95% college enrollment rate.
